When we received Harrison’s diagnosis, I remember feeling like my world was rocked. I remember asking myself, “What should we expect? How can we take care of a child with special needs? Are we even qualified? What would our family’s future hold?” Angie and Tiffani from UP21 reached out to us and helped to provide our family with a lifeline. Thanks to UP21, we have connected with many other families in our community who can serve as guides for us on our journey. Although Harrison has come a long way so far since his birth, we will never know what to expect in his future. One thing we do know is that we will continue to be able to rely on the people that make up UP21 for support.
