UP21 Foundation is very excited to host this amazing Bike Camp!

 

June 5th - 9th  2017

Castine Center, Mandeville, LA  


iCan Bike teaches individuals with Down syndrome and other differing abilities

to ride a standard two wheel bicycle and become life-long, independent riders.

This achievement creates a gateway of opportunity, helping them gain confidence

and self-reliance in many other aspects of their lives.

 

 

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

New Individually fitted BIKE and HELMET to take home after course

5 days of 75 minute sessions of one-on-one instruction and training

Opportunity for 2 weeks of follow-up riding practice

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 8 years of age

Must have a disability, and be able to walk without assistive device

Willing and able to wear a properly fitted bike helmet

Able to sidestep to both sides

Able to attend camp all 5 days

Maximum weight 220 lbs.

Minimum inseam of 20" (measure from floor while rider is wearing sneakers)

COST: $250

(Actual cost is $550 - $300 of which is being covered by UP21)

$125 to be paid at registration and the remainder by 5/1/17
